Mutual Respect
One of our school aims is to be a 'Respectful, tolerant citizen'. Children learn that their behaviour has an effect on their own rights and those of others. All members of the school community treat each other with respect. Incidents where children are not respectful are dealt with in line with our school Behaviour Policy.
We teach our children to respect others from a wide range of backgrounds, which may be similar or very different to their own. This includes people with special needs or a disability and people who come from a range of different cultural backgrounds. Mutual respect is interwoven into our PSHE Jigsaw curriculum taught through 6 different themes throughout the school year from Nursery to Year 6.
