Charity Fortnight
Charity Fortnight is one of the most exciting events of our school year. Over two weeks, the whole school comes together to raise money for a chosen charity as well as for our own school community. KS2 children are invited to take on an impressive challenge by running either a marathon or a half marathon, building teamwork, resilience, and a fantastic sense of achievement along the way. Meanwhile, KS1 pupils enjoy a fun-filled danceathon!
Throughout the fortnight, children can also make and sell delicious treats from our ever-popular cake sales, pupils love visiting the lively 10p Fayre, organised by our Year 6 pupils and enjoy seeing who can make Mrs Hales and Mrs Thelwell laugh with their best joke.
On the final day of Charity Fortnight, pupils and parents line the route, cheering every runner to the finish line! These events create a wonderful atmosphere of generosity, enthusiasm, and school spirit—helping us raise valuable funds that make a real difference both locally and within our school.
