Pupils raise money for Charity Fortnight 7th - 18th February 2022

Congratulations to two of our fantastic pupils at Dorridge who wrote to the Round Table to inform them of our Charity Fortnight to raise money for the charity 'Spread The Happiness'. The Round Table have donated £500 to this very worthy cause in support of our Charity Fortnight. We are extremely proud of them for such fantastic initiative and caring attitude towards others.

Visit by the Secretary of State for Education

We were delighted to welcome Rt Hon. Gavin Williamson CBE MP, Secretary of State for Education for a visit to school on 10th October 2019. We were very proud of our House Captains and the members of our School Council, who represented their peers with both eloquence and maturity.

A tweet from the minister's personal account after the visit is copied to the right. You can see a related tweet from the Department for Education's Twitter feed >>here.

The minister met with our head of governors and the senior management team before touring parts of the school, seeing some of the facilities available for the children. This was followed by a session where the minister answered questions posed by our school council members and the school house captains.

Some photos from the visit, including Alfie the school dog, are below. Click on an image to see it in a little more detail in a new window.
