Ofsted Reports

Ofsted logoOfsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Ofsted visited Dorridge Primary School on 23rd and 24th May to carry out an ungraded inspection to confirm whether or not the school was still performing as a 'good' Ofsted rated school, which was the outcome of the full graded inspection in February 2018.

We were delighted that the outcome of the recent visit was that Dorridge Primary School continues to be a good school and indeed that there is enough evidence of
improved performance to suggest that the school could be judged outstanding if Ofsted were to carry out a graded (section 5) inspection now. A graded inspection will therefore take place within 12-18 months.

A copy of that report can be found below, along with a letter sent out to parents when it was published, as well as the original full inspection report from 2018.

Parent View logo

Ofsted have a service called Parent View that gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected. They use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect and when. Click on the Parent View logo to the right to register with the site and make your contribution. This link will take you away from our site.
