Dorridge Primary School enhances pupils’ understanding of different faiths, cultures and beliefs through RE,  collective worship, visits and visitors, and the wider curriculum. There are visits to places of worship and visitors from other faiths come and share their culture and religious customs with pupils. In addition, each year group learns about different faiths as part of the RE Discovery Curriculum to equip children with the knowledge which will enable them to understand the diverse nature of peoples beliefs. We encourage our pupils to understand, accept, respect and celebrate diversity.  

Religious Education Curriculum Overview

Assemblies are planned to give children opportunity to reflect of a variety of beliefs, cultures and moral values. Our curriculum incorporates teaching and learning opportunities for children to explore aspects of the wider world and an appreciation of cultural diversity, celebrating all religious festivals.
